SCE Color Blaze 2026 - 2027

Join us for our annual Bobcat Color Blaze! Spring Creek Elementary is hosting a Color Run to raise money for the Jennifer Dunn Memorial Scholarship Fund, poster print supplies, family nights and our annual Buckaroo Breakfast! Please help us reach our school-wide goal of $10,000! Students will collect donations to sponsor their walk around the school on September 17th. Any size donation is welcome in the form of cash, check, or online by scanning the QR below. Please make checks payable to Spring Creek Elementary. We welcome parents and families to walk alongside their child’s class and be blasted with color and fun!

Jennifer Dunn Memorial Scholarship

The Jennifer Dunn Memorial Scholarship was established by the staff at Spring Creek Elementary as a means to give back to the community for their generous support of Spring Creek Elementary. The scholarships are given to graduating seniors at Spring Creek High School who previously attended Spring Creek Elementary. These scholarships will be funded through private donations and/or fundraising activities the staff agrees upon.

The Jennifer Dunn Scholarship is a memorial scholarship in memory of Jennifer Dunn, who was a student at Spring Creek Elementary. She died of an undiagnosed heart condition while playing in a PAL basketball game. Jenni was only twelve years old. She attended Spring Creek Elementary from Kindergarten in 1989, to February, 1996 of her sixth-grade year. Jenni was an artist who loved her friends, reading and writing, the outdoors, and all animals. She had planned to be a veterinarian. She loved school and never wanted to miss a minute. SCE was called “Jenni’s school” by her younger brothers. Jenni’s mother, Sally Dunn became a teacher at Spring Creek Elementary in 1997 and retired in 2020.

A committee of staff members and the principal at Spring Creek Elementary will work together to select the recipients of the scholarships.
