Birkes Bulldogs: Strong. Proud. AWESOME!
BULLDOGS SCREENED FENCE: Building a Safer, Stronger Birkes.
Birkes Elementary PTO is raising funds for an important campus safety and beautification project: a new privacy and security fence screen along the school perimeter facing Queenston Boulevard and West Road.
SAFETY + PRIVACY + SCHOOL PRIDE
The new fence screen will provide several important benefits:
🛡️ Increased Privacy
The screen will block approximately 80% of visual access through the existing perimeter fence, helping limit visibility into areas used by our students and staff.
🏫 Enhanced Campus Appearance
Custom Birkes Elementary graphics and school colors will transform an ordinary perimeter fence into an attractive feature that showcases our Bulldog pride.
💪 Built for a School Environment
Reinforced borders will help the screens maintain their integrity and appearance through everyday use and exposure to outdoor conditions.
🔩 Secure Installation
Brass grommets positioned approximately every 12 inches, along with reinforced triple-grommet corners, provide additional durability and help keep the screen securely attached to the existing fence.
🎨 Vibrant Custom Graphics
UV printing technology allows the screen to feature bright, full-color Birkes imagery designed to remain visually appealing outdoors.
WHY THIS PROJECT MATTERS
Every day, our families trust that Birkes is providing a safe and welcoming environment for our children. While a fence screen is not a replacement for the school's existing security measures, it can provide an additional layer of privacy by significantly reducing direct sightlines into the campus from the surrounding sidewalks and roadways.
At the same time, this project gives us an opportunity to improve the appearance of our school and create a perimeter that proudly represents the Birkes Bulldogs.
HELP US COVER THE FENCE!
Every donation gets us one step closer to completing the new Birkes fence screen.
What ever your contribution, it will invest directly in an improvement that can benefit every Bulldog who walks onto our campus.
Parents. Grandparents. Staff. Alumni. Neighbors. Community members.
Everyone can be part of making Birkes better.
STRONG. PROUD. TOGETHER.
All funds raised through this campaign will support the Birkes Elementary PTO fence screen project and any remaining funds go directly into PTO-supported student and campus initiatives including field trips and transportation.
