The Tyson and Kallie Edwards Peterson Spirit Scholarship

To honor the beautiful lives of Kallie and Tyson Peterson, we are raising money to create a memorial scholarship in their name. The scholarship's eligibility will be defined together by both Kallie’s and Tyson’s parents, Mark & Kori Ann Edwards/ Brook & Mary Peterson / Lee & Jackie Gold, when they are ready to finalize the process. The scholarship will be available to Fremont High seniors wanting to attend Utah State University where Kallie and Tyson met. Kallie completed her bachelor’s degree in Aviation Technology and Tyson was getting his undergraduate in preparation for dental school. Kallie and Tyson were following in the footsteps of their parents, Kori Ann Edwards, R. Brook Peterson and Jackie Gold.

Our goal is to raise funds to guarantee a memorial scholarship now and into the future. The amount of money raised above the original $25,000 goal, will help determine the size and number of scholarships awarded each year in their name.

Kallie, a loving wife, daughter, sister and friend was adored by all. She was comforted in her losses by her faith that she would be reunited with those she loves. Tyson was a loving son, husband, brother, uncle and also adored by all - especially children, nieces, nephews – who seemed to naturally gravitate to him. We can take comfort in knowing that Tyson and Kallie are eternally together, and we will be with them again.

The world has never seen a more beautiful, smart, kind and hard-working couple. This scholarship will ensure that their spirit may live on through the opportunities and light provided to others.
