Calling all Leopards! We need your help to meet an urgent need at Lindon Elementary. Over the next year, we need to replace 300 Chromebooks that must be retired due to aging hardware that can no longer access the applications, tools, and programs we require. One Chromebook complete with Internet and maintenance costs about $300. This means we need to raise $90,000 over the next year. We are reaching out in the spirit of partnership to ask for your help to do the seemingly impossible and reach this lofty goal.

Why are Chromebooks so important to Lindon Elementary?

We have worked hard over the years not only to acquire technology, but also to use it in purposeful ways to enhance student learning. Students throughout our school use Chromebooks for the following purposes:

Math & Literacy Differentiated Skills Practice ◆ Project Based Learning ◆ Assessments  

Google Educational Tools (Drive, Docs, Forms, Slides, etc.) 

 Online Tools ◆ Remote Learning ◆ Coding/Programming ◆ Web Design

What else is Lindon Elementary doing to meet this need?

In addition to reaching out to businesses and alumni for help to replace 300 Chromebooks, we are also doing all we can to generate funds. These efforts include:

• Students collecting donations for our annual Paws for a Good Cause Walkathon
• Teachers applying for Donors Choose grants
• PTA/SCC members applying for various grants: Lindon PARC, dōTERRA, and Walmart grants

Please join with us March 15th-March 25th to support our student donation collection. Our student fundraising goal is $20,000, which equates to roughly $30 per student to make the goal. That said, donations of any amount are appreciated, and your donation (of any amount) directly benefits every student and every faculty member of our school!

ALL PROCEEDS raised will go directly to Lindon Elementary for the purpose of Chromebook replacement.
