DPHS Theatre

I am thrilled to share some exciting news from the newly opened Deseret Peak High School. A new school in the community means we are also a new theater program this year! As the theatre teacher, I am reaching out to invite you to be part of this incredible beginning and help us bring the performing arts to life for our students.

 Theater has the power to inspire confidence, creativity, teamwork, and communication skills — all essential qualities that students carry with them beyond the classroom. Our goal is to provide a welcoming and inclusive space where students can explore the world of performance and production, some for the very first time.

 However, as a newly established program, we are starting from the ground up — and we need your help to build a strong foundation, we are seeking donations and sponsorships to help cover the essential costs of launching our first season. This includes:

• Licensing rights for scripts and music

• Materials for costumes, props, and sets

• Marketing and printing for playbills and posters

• Workshop opportunities and guest teaching artists

• Essential overnight field trips to Utah Theatre Associate Conference and Region Competition

 Your support — whether as a business sponsor, donor, or in-kind contributor — would make a direct and lasting impact. Not only would you be helping us create opportunities for our students, but you'd also be investing in the cultural and educational enrichment of our entire school community.

 In recognition of your support, we would be proud to include your name or business in our playbill. A donation of up to $50 will give you a ¼ page ad, $50-200 would be a ½ page add, a donation up to $500 would be a one-page ad, and anything above $500 would qualify for a two-page ad in our playbill. We could also discuss other opportunities for advertising such as on our show apparel.  Most importantly, you’ll be part of the founding group of supporters who helped make this program successful from day one.
