Jefferson History Then and Now
Jefferson History Then and Now
From THEN to NOW, Jefferson with its singular and historic Bell Tower, stands as a symbol of the tenacity of the pioneer spirit that settled this land and established the importance of education for every child.
The bell ringing acted as a clock for the early Norman community and now it signifies the growth of its students from fifth grade to Seniors graduating from high school. The following personal stories cover these 130 years of growth and changes in our lives and the city of Norman. From chalkboards of slate to personal computers education remains at the heart of our schools.
