Baseball Fungo Olympics
Coaches or Anyone 18 and Older! Join us for the 1st Annual Baseball Fungo Olympics hosted by Salem Baseball Club. This exciting event will feature a competition for coaches using a Fungo Baseball Bat. Participants will compete in 6 events: Closest to the Target, Velocity, Line Drive Accuracy, Distance, Infield Accuracy and Outfield Accuracy. Velocity: 5 attempts from a Pocket Radar
Distance: 5 attempts to hit the ball as far as you can. The Roll Counts
Infield Accuracy: 7 attempts to Hit Targets placed around the infield. Groundballs
Outfield Accuracy: 7 attempts to Hit Targets placed around the Outfield. The Roll Counts
Catcher Pop-Ups: 7 attempts to land Pop-Up on Homeplate Turf. Must be high as Backstop.
Line Drive Accuracy: 7 attempts to hit a ball through a Giant Tractor Tire. The Roll Counts.
All Ties Settle By: 1. Closest to the Target 2. Highest Velocity
