Join us for the "Friends of Wells High School Drama Club" sponsorship fundraiser, hosted by Wells High School. Help support the WHS Drama Club by choosing from our variety of Sponsorship options. Each sponsor will receive exciting rewards such as free tickets to every show of the season, having their name listed in the program, ads or logos in the program, and an autographed Playbill poster. Your contribution will play a vital role in enhancing the performing arts experience for our talented students by paying for scripts, royalties, production fees, costumes, makeup, competition fees, uniforms, travel, hotels, and new equipment. Dear Future Wells High School Drama Club Sponsor,
Last year’s production of How (not) to Be a Wizard during Fine Arts Night was a tremendous success, and our membership has grown to over 30 students eager to engage in the world of theater! Our club provides students hands-on experience in public speaking, management, design, construction, music, marketing, and more—skills that enrich their lives and prepare them for future careers.
Our Drama Club members also benefit from professional theater exposure. Last year, students visited the Hale Centre Theatre in Sandy, Utah, where they experienced a full backstage technical tour, attended a performance of Elf: The Musical, and learned about the more than 600 individuals employed at that one venue alone. This year, we’re excited to return to Hale Centre to see Beauty & the Beast and participate in a one-hour acting workshop.
Our program has also grown with the addition of a Technical Theater CTE program and SkillsUSA participation, where students gain hands-on skills in areas like audio-visual production, stagecraft, and even a student-run Mobile DJ service, which allows them to provide a valuable service to the community. These students are working hard to update the light, sound, and visual technology in the newly rebranded Wells High School Performing Arts Center, but we still have quite a ways to go to fully modernize the venue.
The costs of productions, activities, equipment upgrades, and matching funds for grants add up quickly, and we’re reaching out to ask for your support. Sponsorship levels include program and event recognition for your business, giving you the opportunity to be part of the Performing Arts Center’s journey and support a wide range of student learning experiences.
