Timothy Gocklin, Oboe, Artist in Residence

Join us for a performance by Grammy-winning oboist Tim Gocklin, who will be an Artist in Residence. This concert is set for 7 PM in the Roshong Recital Hall, with admission at $20 for adults and free for those aged 18 and under.

Tim will be accompanied by pianist Kristen Folden.

Known for his “remarkably beautiful oboe playing” (Fanfare Magazine), Timothy Gocklin expresses his musical passion through his profound connection to the oboe.

He is a member of the Grammy-winning Akropolis Reed Quintet, serves as the principal oboist for the Fort Collins Symphony, 

and holds the role of Artist-In-Residence in Oboe and woodwind chamber music coordinator at the University of Northern Colorado.

Recently, he has also been appointed as the principal oboist of the Reno Philharmonic Orchestra.

Gocklin will give a free master class on Friday at 10:10am in Roshong Recital Hall
