Hillcrest Medical Science Pathway/ HOSA No-Fuss Fundraiser

About the Hillcrest Medical Science Pathway:

We are excited about the new Hillcrest Medical Science Graduation Pathway. Our goal is to help students achieve a well-rounded education and develop a robust knowledge of health science fundamentals. Graduates of the Pathway will earn Utah State Board of Education certificates such as the Medical Terminology Certification, that will help them build their professional resumes and will earn them concurrent enrollment credit through Salt Lake Community College. Our vision is to impart professional and academic skills that will be advantageous in post-secondary education.

We are committed to mentoring students and to helping them find purpose in their lives, hopefully in the noble and high-paying health science professions. As part of the Hillcrest Medical Science Pathway students will have the opportunity to explore many health science careers and participate in various hands-on learning experiences such as dissection labs. Our students are provided with service learning, competition and leadership training opportunities in HOSA, the future health science professions club. HOSA participation is a great way to build a college resume and be eligible for scholarships.

Our students work very hard and we strive to acknowledge and reward their achievements. Pathway graduates are recognized at the Senior Awards night and are presented with a certificate, special Hillcrest Medical Pathway medallion and an honors cord(s) to walk with at the Graduation Ceremony.
