Hope Squad New Year Fundraiser

Thank you to all who donated in person and online at our December 30th fundraiser!! We will be continuing this campaign for all still interested in donating to The Wells Jr High and High School HOPE Squad. All proceeds will be used to send our members to Jae’s Place in Twin Falls, Idaho. Jae’s Place is a western store, event center, and most importantly the home of Jae’s Foundation. This foundation was created after the loss of a dear family member and focuses on raising awareness for mental health and suicide prevention. The cost to attend the presentation is $150 per visitor. The foundation will also give each student a pair of boots. Once someone gets their Jae Boots, they serve as a reminder to check-in on those around us, be bold enough to have conversations around mental health, and even give us the strength to put our boots on and ask for help if needed.

Any remaining proceeds will help the Wells HOPE Squad provide community and school events like HOPE Week in February. This is similar to Homecoming but with the focus on suicide and mental health awareness.
